Our Ski Edition home is a beautiful converted farmhouse in the French Alps

WHERE WE’RE STAYING

We been visiting these mountains for 20 years. So we’ve picked the perfect place to retreat in the French Alps

We’ve partnered with Alikats, an independent, female co-founded, luxury chalet company based in Morzine, where every stay combines world-class hospitality with their B Corp certified commitment to sustainability.

Living room with wooden walls and ceiling, large sectional sofa with pillows, fireplace with logs, guitar leaning against the wall, large windows showing a forest view, and a staircase leading to an upper level.

We’ve found the perfect retreat home

OUR RETREAT HOME

We’ll be staying in a beautifully converted farmhouse, originally built in 1808. It’s on the outskirts of Morzine, tucked away in Montriond.

It has a huge living and dining area. The chalet surrounds itself with balconies for you to enjoy the incredible views stretching down the valley.

Although large in size, it still remains cosy with plenty of comfortable seating around the roaring log fire.

And let’s not forget it’s got a gorgeous outdoor sauna and hot tub; perfect to warm up after a day on the mountains, to ease your aches and pains and to finally relax….

Interior of a cozy wooden cabin with a dining area. A long table is set with white tablecloths, plates, glassware, and wine bottles. There are candles and decorative lanterns on the table. Large windows show a view of trees outside. The wood-paneled walls and ceiling include hanging spherical light fixtures. A fireplace with candles and a decorative sign that reads "ALIKATS MOUNTAIN HOLIDAYS" are visible in the background.
The image shows a cozy living room with wooden walls and ceilings, a sofa with pillows, a guitar, a small table with drinks and playing cards, and large windows with dark curtains. There are hanging pendant lights and candles on the floor.
Cozy wooden loft corner with an armchair, polka dot pillow, black fur throw, small side table, and tall lamps near a wooden railing.

Cosy twin bedrooms to rest and recover

WHERE YOU’LL BE SLEEPING

All rooms are twins and ensuite.

They are cosy and luxurious for you to rest your weary head.

WHAT YOU’LL BE EATING WHILE YOU’RE THERE

Delicious food and wine and time to gather around the table

The chalet team will be cooking up a storm. Think continental breakfast to fuel you for a day on the slopes.

Then home to afternoon tea to replenish. A two course evening meal with wine each night to chat to everyone about your day.

You’ll be treated on an arrival to the chalet with an afternoon tea and Prosecco to thoroughly welcome you.

And on our final night, we have more bubbles as well as a cheese course. Because we’re in France and it is obligatory right?

A cup of caramelized crème brûlée next to a cup of black coffee on a blue tray.
A plate of spaghetti topped with a meat sauce and garnished with fresh green herbs.
A white bowl containing a slice of berry crumble topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, garnished with red berry powder, and served with blackberries on the side.
